Uklon launched Uklon Store marketplace in its own app of the same name. The first category of the beta version of the marketplace was “Flowers” – the service is currently available in Kyiv.
This was reported by Uklon, the Prompolitinform portal informs.
The launch is part of the company’s ecosystem scaling strategy: the marketplace forms a new delivery monetization channel and expands the application’s usage scenarios for the existing user base. For partner stores, the platform opens up access to an active loyal audience and a new sales channel without its own logistics. The pilot model is being tested in the floristic direction with further expansion of the marketplace’s assortment.
“The launch of the marketplace is a continuation of our strategy of transitioning from a mono-product to an ecosystem of complementary services. We have an active paying audience, a strong technological platform and our own delivery infrastructure, so the marketplace is an organic extension of what we have already built. Today, this is the sixth product in the application — along with trips, delivery, bus ticket purchase and electric scooters. We are starting with the Flowers category, and we will expand the marketplace as demand grows and new relevant categories appear,” said Sergey Grishkov, CEO of Uklon.
The Flowers service is available on the main screen of the Uklon application. To place an order, the user simply selects a store, adds an item to the cart and confirms payment – the order is delivered to the specified address. Fast delivery by Uklon partner drivers and a wide coverage radius provide access to a larger selection of stores – and careful transportation of bouquets.
