President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions against 10 Russian mobile operators, internet providers, and satellite communication companies. As reported by the PromPolitInform portal, the press service of the Office of the President reported.
The sanctions include, in particular, Luhansk Communications, Mobile Communication Systems, the federal satellite and telecommunications operator Amtel-Zvyazok, and the enterprise Kosmichny Zvyazok.
The Office of the President stated that these companies provide confidential communication channels for the occupiers, access to the Internet in the temporarily occupied territories and broadcast Russian TV channels.
Ukraine will transfer information about sanctioned companies to partners and raise the issue of synchronizing restrictions in other jurisdictions.
