In Poland, activists created the “Order of the Future” for Zelensky and Ukrainians after the scandal

Polish activists founded their own “Order of the Future” for President Zelensky and Ukrainians after the decision to deprive him of the Order of the White Eagle. The initiators called this decision erroneous and accused politicians of using historical themes.

A group of activists in Poland announced the creation of their own “Order of the Future” for the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian people after the decision of President Karol Navroczky to deprive the Ukrainian leader of the Order of the White Eagle. This is stated in the initiators’ address, UNN writes. The PromPolitInform portal reports.

The authors of the initiative stated that they want to express disagreement with the decision of the Polish authorities and support for Ukraine, which continues to resist Russian aggression.

According to them, in 2023, Poland awarded Zelensky and the Ukrainian people the Order of the White Eagle in recognition of the struggle for freedom and security of Europe, and they consider Warsaw’s current decision to be erroneous.

The initiators accused politicians of using historical themes

“Ukrainians give their lives for security – their own, Poland’s and Europe’s. The current decision of the Polish head of state shows how the Russian trap works,” the appeal says.

The authors of the statement claim that Polish right-wing forces are using the topic of the Volyn tragedy in their internal political struggle on the eve of the parliamentary elections.

“Because as citizens of the Republic of Poland, we are awarding our own order. This is an initiative from below. In this way, we show that many Poles will not be able to be turned against Ukrainians,” the initiators emphasized.

They also stated that support for Ukraine from a significant part of Polish society remains regardless of the decisions of politicians and political disputes between Warsaw and Kyiv.
