The Ministry of Economy has updated the rules for booking employees, introducing additional mechanisms for checking enterprises that apply for the status of critical. The new procedure should make the procedure more transparent and prevent the submission of unfounded applications. This is reported by “Pershy Business“, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
According to the department, companies will now undergo an expanded assessment of criticality, which will include an analysis of their contribution to the economy, production volumes, participation in ensuring defense needs, logistics functions and stability of work in war conditions. Particular attention will be paid to enterprises in the energy sector, transport, medicine, communications and the defense industry.
The updated procedure also provides for a detailed justification for each employee that the enterprise wants to book. Formal lists will no longer be accepted – companies must prove that a specific specialist is critical for continuous work.
In case of non-compliance with the criteria, the application may be returned for revision or rejected. The Ministry of Economy emphasizes that the purpose of the changes is to ensure the reservation of only those employees without whom the enterprise will not be able to perform key functions for the state.
We remind you that the new rules will reduce the number of controversial decisions and strengthen control over the use of the reservation mechanism, which has become one of the most important tools for supporting economic stability during the war.
