In fact, this is an attempt to find the optimal solution to the crisis situation that arose as a result of the resignation of Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov due to pressure from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky. A large part of society did not accept the dismissal of the minister, who gave our army a huge technological boost and effectively cut down corrupt and bureaucratic schemes for providing troops.

This time he met with the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapaty, Deputy Chief of the General Staff Volodymyr Horbatyuk, as well as the Commander of the 3rd Army Corps Andriy Biletsky.
During the conversation with Volodymyr Horbatyuk, the main attention was paid to the issues of Ukraine’s defense strategy and coordination of interaction with international partners.
Following the meeting with Mykhailo Drapaty, Zelensky noted that they discussed a wide range of topics. The President emphasized that the effectiveness of Ukrainian defense depends on the coordinated use of the experience of all components of the Defense Forces.
Separately, the Head of State commented on the negotiations with Andriy Biletsky. According to him, the commander presented a detailed report on the situation in his direction, and also shared an assessment of the further development of events on the front and a vision of the strategy of actions of the Ukrainian troops.
