As of the morning of July 21, 2026 — the 1,609th day of the war — Ukraine’s Defense Forces have destroyed approximately 1,431,900 occupiers since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, including 1,370 over the past day.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as informed by the Prompolitinform portal.
For reference, on March 28, 2025, Ukrainian forces destroyed 122 artillery systems of the russian army in a single day, setting an absolute daily record for eliminating enemy guns.
This took place during the largest month of counter-battery warfare, when in March 2025 a record number of occupier guns were destroyed — 1,644 units. For comparison, the United States has approximately 3,000 artillery systems in service, while the United Kingdom has only 200.
Currently, the absolute monthly record for destroying artillery systems of the russian army, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was set in June 2026 — 2,074 guns. This is more than for the entire year of 2022, when 2,021 units of enemy artillery weapons were destroyed. The previous record was set in May 2026 — 1,993 units of russian army artillery weapons were destroyed.
The total combat losses of the russian occupation army from February 24, 2022, to July 21, 2026, are estimated to be:

• motor vehicles and fuel tankers – 123,347 (+453) units
• special equipment – 4,441 (+8) units
