The State Bureau of Investigation, together with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is conducting a large-scale special operation “Honest Draft”. This is reported by Fakty, the PromPolitInform portal reports.

According to the State Bureau of Investigation, searches and other investigative actions are taking place in over 100 territorial recruitment and social support centers in most regions of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers are investigating possible facts of facilitating mobilization evasion for monetary reward, as well as abuse of official authority by TCC employees. In particular, these are cases of beating and torture of conscripts.
The SBI emphasized that the special operation is part of a comprehensive effort to clean up the system, and not a response to a single high-profile incident.
Following the results of investigative actions in various regions, arrests and reports of suspicion to those involved in possible offenses are expected.
Reaction of the General Staff to inspections in the TCK
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that they are assisting law enforcement agencies in conducting inspections and investigating possible corruption offenses and abuses in territorial recruitment centers.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized the policy of zero tolerance for corruption and the need to objectively and impartially verify each report of a possible offense.
The General Staff noted that public trust in the recruitment system can be strengthened through compliance with the law, transparency, and inevitability of responsibility. If the facts of illegal activity are confirmed, the guilty must answer in accordance with the law.
At the same time, the General Staff called on not to devalue the work of the military personnel of the CCC, who conscientiously and professionally perform their duties, ensuring the mobilization and strengthening of Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
