The special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Group 13 conducted an operation in the temporarily occupied Crimea and hit two radar facilities of the Russian troops. This was reported by the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the PromPolitInform portal informs.
During the operation, a control machine from the Podleot radar complex was hit, as well as a friend-or-foe recognition system – the Parol-4 radar interrogator.
The operation took place at the end of July 2026. To strike ground targets, the scouts used the latest Magura naval platforms, in particular FPV drone carriers.
“From now on, our Maguras threaten the Russian occupiers on land — this is a radical shift in the fight to another plane,” said the commander of Group 13 with the call sign “Thirteenth.”
The GUR recalled that during the war, Group 13 operators destroyed nine and damaged five Russian ships. The special forces unit also destroyed three Russian helicopters, damaged another helicopter and destroyed two fighters from the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
