On the night of August 18, russian forces attacked Ukraine with 147 strike UAVs and decoy drones. Ukrainian air defense destroyed and suppressed 111 aerial targets.
This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The attack was launched from the territory of the russian federation and temporarily occupied areas. The weapons were recorded in the north, south, and east of the state.
Air defense involved all available forces and assets
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, and electronic warfare units were engaged in repelling the air attack. Mobile firing groups and unmanned systems units also participated in the counteraction.
The consequences of the enemy attack were recorded in various regions
According to preliminary data as of morning, drone strikes were recorded at 19 locations. The fall of debris from downed vehicles was recorded at three more locations.
