Exposition. Iryna Mudra stated that she was searched and informed of suspicion

Iryna Mudra stated that she was served with a petition for a preventive measure, and also denied information about the detention.

As previously reported by “Sudovo-Yurydychna Gazeta”, the deputy head of the President’s Office Iryna Mudra has been dismissed from her post. This is reported by the publication, the PromPolitInform portal informs.

Subsequently, Iryna Mudra reported that on August 19, law enforcement officers searched her, informed of suspicion and served her with a petition for a preventive measure. She also denied information about the detention, which was previously reported by the media.

Iryna Mudra emphasized that she is cooperating with the investigation and is preparing for the court hearing together with her lawyers. She wrote about this on her Facebook page.

“I will comment on the fragments of conversations that are being published today in parts and out of context after reviewing the case materials. Social networks are not a place to establish the truth. Together with her lawyers, I will provide a detailed position on the merits of each episode,” she said.

Mudra also reported that “I have filed a request for dismissal, and I will defend my good name myself, without transferring this fight to the state.”

In addition, the former official added that for more than four years she has worked on creating legal mechanisms to hold the Russian Federation accountable, in particular, on the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression, an international compensation mechanism, and the use of frozen Russian assets.

We will add that NABU and SAPO reported the exposure of a criminal organization, which, according to the investigation, operated under the leadership of a current and former People’s Deputies of Ukraine with the participation of high-ranking officials of the Office of the President and other persons.
