Vice Admiral Mark Norman stated that Ukraine remains a world leader in combat innovation. The nation is demonstrating unique growth rates not only in technology but also in the tactics of their deployment. This was reported by Ukrinform citing Mark Norman, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The former Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff of Canada emphasized that it is crucial for allies to study the Ukrainian experience, as it is transforming modern warfare concepts. According to the Vice Admiral, Ukraine’s leadership encompasses both the development of cutting-edge tools and changes in doctrinal approaches.
Integrating approaches as the key to success
Norman highlighted the necessity of combining traditional weaponry with unconventional capabilities. He noted that no single technology is decisive on its own, which is why effective integration on the battlefield is the primary objective.
It is worth noting that representatives of the Canadian and Latvian armed forces are already conducting joint exercises to acquire the experience gained by Ukrainian defenders. Foreign experts are paying special attention to the practical use of unmanned systems for both ground and aerial operations.
