Russian attack on 25-storey residential building left 25 people injured
State Emergency Service units have finished rescue operations at the site of a Russian strike on a residential building in Odesa. The attack on 12 September killed two people and injured 25 others. This was reported by Ukrinform citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Russian troops targeted a 25-storey residential building in Odesa during an attack on 12 September. At the impact site, specialists from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine cleared debris and searched for affected citizens.
During the rescue operation, emergency workers unblocked and pulled seven people from under damaged structures. Two children were among the rescued residents of the high-rise building.
Casualties of the Russian strike on the apartment block
Two civilian residents lost their lives as a result of the enemy shelling. Additionally, 25 people required medical assistance for injuries of varying severity caused by structural damage and the blast wave.
While conducting search operations at the site, rescuers found a person’s body under the rubble of the damaged building. Following a complete inspection of the destroyed areas, emergency crews officially wrapped up their work.
