Seven vehicles will be delivered to the city to restore urban public transport services
Kyiv and Dnipro have decided to jointly support Odesa by donating a portion of their passenger buses. The assistance is required due to significant losses of the city's bus fleet following persistent enemy shelling. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Vitali Klitschko.
As part of inter-municipal cooperation, a decision was made to reallocate public transport resources to Odesa. Previously, in October 2022, Kyiv had already provided 30 buses to Dnipro to replace vehicles destroyed during Russian attacks.
Technical specifications
Seven vehicles, which were previously in service in Dnipro, will be transferred to Odesa. These are MAZ buses of two models, capable of carrying 100 and 150 passengers respectively.
The buses feature low floors and ramps for passengers in wheelchairs. Furthermore, the drivers’ cabins are equipped with air conditioning systems, while mechanical reliability is ensured by components manufactured by Mercedes-Benz and Voith.
