Changes in prices and supply volumes in fruit and vegetable markets of Ukraine and Uzbekistan

Onions have risen in price in Ukraine, while cucumber prices have increased in Uzbekistan

During the 37th week of 2026, EastFruit trading platforms recorded multidirectional price fluctuations and changes in vegetable and fruit supply volumes in Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Tomatoes became the product leader by the number of listings, while Ukraine and Uzbekistan led among countries. This was reported by EastFruit, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

Participants from 8 countries posted advertisements on the trading platform over the past week, while the total number of offers remained at the level of the previous period. An increase in product volumes from Uzbekistan, Turkey, and China was recorded against the background of a decrease in figures from Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Sellers of tomatoes, white cabbage, and bulb onions demonstrated the highest activity in terms of the number of publications.

Dynamics of fruit and vegetable supply

Sales volumes of potatoes, carrots, and table beets decreased, causing beets to drop out of the weekly sales top. At the same time, the number of eggplant and pumpkin offers increased due to the activity of users from the Ukrainian market. Apples dominated the fruit segment, although the total number of announcements regarding them decreased slightly.

The number of sellers of watermelons, plums, and nectarines decreased, whereas melon supply increased. Turkish suppliers launched the Meyer lemon season, and Uzbek participants are increasing persimmon supplies. Among buyers, potatoes and other borsch kit items were in the highest demand.

Price trends on the Ukrainian market

In Ukraine, vegetable prices showed multidirectional dynamics due to fluctuations in supply volumes. In particular, table beets, bulb onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers became more expensive. Among cabbage crops, Beijing and cauliflower prices decreased, while broccoli increased in price.

In the fruit segment of the Ukrainian market, a decrease in prices for apples and pears was recorded. At the same time, the cost of blueberries, garden strawberries, and raspberries increased significantly. Peaches and nectarines also began to rise in price along with watermelons.

Situation in Uzbekistan and the technological sector

An increase in prices for cucumbers and pears was recorded on the fruit and vegetable market of Uzbekistan. The technological platform demonstrated increased activity driven by a larger supply of seedlings, which became the top-selling product in their category. Users also offered containers, packaging, and specialized greenhouse equipment more frequently.
