Pension Fund expenditures will reach 1 trillion 278.8 billion hryvnias
The draft state budget for 2027 provides for an increase in Pension Fund expenditures by more than 200 billion hryvnias. The budget transfer for pension supplements will amount to 292.8 billion hryvnias. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Олена Чупровська), according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The Ministry of Finance has prepared next year’s estimate, according to which total expenditures of the Pension Fund should amount to 1 trillion 278.8 billion hryvnias. Compared to previous figures, this amount will increase by more than 200 billion hryvnias.
State support for the social sphere
A significant portion of the fund’s financial needs will traditionally be covered at the expense of the state budget. In particular, the direct transfer for pension supplements is set at 292.8 billion hryvnias. This volume of funding exceeds last year’s figures by 41.5 billion hryvnias.
At the same time, total expenditures for social benefits under the direction of the Ministry of Social Policy will reach 540.3 billion hryvnias. The increase in this indicator compared to 2026 is 72.6 billion hryvnias.
Requirements for benefit recipients
In addition to budgetary indicators, the relevant agency reminds citizens of their obligation to report changes in personal data in a timely manner. In case of untimely notification regarding the update of passport details, bank accounts, or employment activities, any excessively accrued funds are subject to return.
Citizens are given a period of 10 days to transmit the relevant information. Separate rules also apply to pensioners residing abroad who undergo the identification procedure.
