Key energy infrastructure facilities used by Russian occupation forces have been struck
Ukrainian military units have nearly completed Operation "Black Bird" in southern Ukraine. Intelligence and combat groups successfully destroyed energy infrastructure that Russian forces had resorted to using due to severe fuel shortages. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of 422 LUFTWAFFE.
Russian occupation units in the southern sector faced an acute shortage of fuel and lubricants, forcing the enemy to switch their facilities to gas-based generation. To ensure an uninterrupted power supply for their repair bases and logistics capabilities, the aggressor built specialized pipelines, masking the work as preventative maintenance for the local population.
Energy Infrastructure Monitoring
Intelligence units from the Operational Group of Forces “South”, the 17th Army Corps, and the 422nd LUFTWAFFE had been monitoring enemy actions for an extended period. Collected data allowed for the identification of key nodes in the enemy’s energy network.
Logistics Strike Results
As part of Operation “Schwarzer Vogel” (“Black Bird”), a series of strikes were conducted, resulting in the destruction or neutralization of the primary energy supply sources used by the occupiers. This has significantly reduced the offensive and technical capabilities of the aggressor in the affected sector.
According to military reports, the operation caused no civilian casualties in the temporarily occupied territories.
