Fuel prices at filling stations rose by more than 8 hryvnias in September

Prices for certain types of gasoline and diesel exceeded 100 hryvnias per liter

Throughout September, the average cost of all types of petroleum products at Ukrainian filling stations increased significantly. The highest price hikes were recorded in the premium fuel and gasoline segments. This was reported by Economichna Pravda citing NaftoRynok, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

According to market monitoring, as of October 1, the average price of A-95 gasoline reached 89.09 UAH/L, which indicates an increase of 8.96 UAH compared to the beginning of September. A similar trend was observed for A-92 gasoline, which rose in price by 8.90 UAH, reaching 84.86 UAH/L.

Changes in the cost of premium grades

Premium fuel grades showed the highest growth rates. Thus, the price of A-95+ gasoline increased by 12.41 UAH, reaching 95.53 UAH/L. Meanwhile, A-98 and A-100 gasoline prices increased by 10.55 UAH, reaching the 100.35 UAH/L mark.

Diesel fuel became 7.34 UAH more expensive during the same period, settling at 98.27 UAH/L. In turn, premium diesel fuel rose in cost by 7.12 UAH, crossing the psychological threshold of 100 hryvnias and reaching 100.79 UAH/L.

LPG price trends

The least significant changes were recorded in the autogas segment. The cost of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased by 0.85 UAH, amounting to 43.87 UAH/L by the beginning of October.

Earlier, filling station chains had already begun to adjust prices upwards. In particular, SOCAR recorded the cost of premium Diesel Nano Extro fuel at 100 UAH/L. In addition, the UPG, UKRNAFTA, and AMIC chains also revised their price tags for gasoline and diesel, increasing them within a range of 1–4 UAH per liter.
