Kremlin Makes Statement on Negotiations After Zelenskyy’s Remarks in Pryluky

Moscow commented on Ukrainian retaliatory strikes against Russian attacks

Russian dictator's press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that recent remarks by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his visit to Pryluky allegedly indicate Kyiv's unwillingness to move toward a peaceful settlement. The Kremlin claims that the Ukrainian leader's words will affect the further course of negotiations. This was reported by Glavcom, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

Moscow drew attention to the statements made by the head of the Ukrainian state regarding Ukraine’s future actions and its strategy in the war. Dmitry Peskov emphasized that such rhetoric allegedly demonstrates the absence of intentions on the part of Ukraine to seek ways for peace.

Impact on the Economy

The Kremlin spokesman also commented on the issue of attacks on Russian territory, noting that these events have a negative impact on Ukraine itself. According to him, the situation affects residents of various cities, the industrial sector, and the state economy as a whole.

Such assessments were made in response to Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statements about Kyiv’s steps in reaction to Russian strikes on Ukrainian data centers. Earlier, the President of Ukraine reported on carrying out response operations, though without disclosing their specific details.

Contacts with the USA

This reaction from Moscow emerged against the backdrop of intensified dialogue between Kyiv and Washington. The Ukrainian negotiating team has already departed for the United States of America, where meetings with the American side are scheduled for October 9-10.

Separately, the Kremlin reacted to the Ukrainian leadership’s points regarding the possibility of forcing the Russian leadership to the negotiating table within two months if allies provide assistance.
