Moscow confirms absence of progress in diplomatic settlement
Russian authorities have declared their intention to resume trilateral dialogue with Ukraine and the United States. At the same time, the Kremlin admitted that there is currently no progress in this process. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Валерій Ульяненко) citing TASS, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Spokesperson for the Russian dictator Dmitry Peskov announced the Kremlin’s readiness for new attempts within the framework of trilateral negotiations. According to him, the goal is to achieve set objectives through peaceful methods, although the process is currently stagnant.
Lack of diplomatic movement
Commenting to journalists, Dmitry Peskov confirmed that despite public statements, there is no real progress regarding the situation. The official noted that the Russian side continues to hope for a return to consultations, regarding which discussions with American partners allegedly took place previously.
Reaction from the Russian Foreign Ministry
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had previously emphasized supposedly “positive signals” coming from Washington. The minister claimed that the Russian leadership is pleased with how the US perceives current realities and assured that Moscow supposedly never refused dialogue.
