Dmytro Rohoziuk has headed the Third Army Corps following Andrii Biletsky's appointment
Dmytro Rohoziuk has been appointed as the new commander of the Third Army Corps, while former head Andrii Biletsky has taken charge of the Center troop group. The former commander of the formation announced this at a press conference. This was reported by hromadske, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The Center troop group unites three army corps, specifically the 3rd, 11th, and 19th. The new head of the Third Corps, Dmytro Rohoziuk, previously commanded the 60th Brigade.
Command of the 11th and 19th Corps
The position of 19th Corps commander was taken by Valerii Skred, who previously served as Chief of Staff of the 7th Air Assault Rapid Reaction Corps. Emil Ishkulov became the commander of the 11th Corps, having previously served as deputy commander of the 7th Corps.
Andrii Biletsky noted that he personally submitted Emil Ishkulov’s candidacy for consideration by top leadership. According to him, the Commander-in-Chief and the General Staff supported this decision, and positive shifts are already visible in the 11th Corps.
The commander of the 19th Corps, Brigadier General Valerii Skred, also received a positive evaluation. Andrii Biletsky described him as an initiative-taking, competent officer and paratrooper who fully suits him.
Area of Responsibility of the Center Group
The operational zone of the Center troop group extends from the southern approaches of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi to Kostiantynivka inclusive. This territory includes Borova, Lyman, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, and Kostiantynivka.
“This is a key sector at this stage of the war and it accounts for 26% of the front, meaning every fourth kilometer of the front is currently directly within our group,” Andrii Biletsky said.
