Defence procurement agency contracted four times more UAVs this year
Units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine eliminated or wounded 302,000 Russian servicemen using unmanned aerial vehicles over the first ten months of 2026. Every strike is verified by video evidence. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
All episodes of successful drone deployment are logged in the DELTA situational awareness system. Following recording, the footage undergoes meticulous verification by specialists from the Brave1 defence innovation cluster.
Monthly data demonstrates consistent intensity in targeting adversary manpower throughout the entire year. The highest monthly casualty count was recorded in March, when drone operators neutralised 33,989 Russian soldiers.
Monthly Breakdown of Enemy Manpower Casualties
In January, Ukrainian operators neutralised 29,572 invaders, while the figure stood at 26,204 in February. In April, Russian army casualties reached 33,961 troops, coming very close to the March peak.
During May, aerial strikes disabled 30,548 occupiers, June saw 27,072 Russian soldiers neutralised, and July casualties totalled 30,272. In August, Ukrainian drones killed or wounded 29,554 Russian troops, followed by 32,739 in September. Between 1 and 25 October, strikes incapacitated another 27,829 personnel.
Frontline Supply and Unit Incentive Mechanisms
The extensive employment of unmanned systems drains enemy manpower reserves, curtails assault rates, and shields frontline personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from direct exposure.
To enhance operational capacity, the Defence Procurement Agency increased UAV procurement contracts by 300% compared to last year. Alongside central deliveries, military personnel earn points for verified strikes to order drones, electronic warfare gear, and ground robotic systems directly on Brave1 Market.
