Taxpayers are unable to access systems and register tax invoices
The taxpayer's electronic cabinet is currently experiencing malfunctions, despite the agency's announcement regarding the completion of technical works. Users are reporting widespread issues with registering tax invoices and are demanding clarification on how to avoid potential penalties. This was reported by Economichna Pravda, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Users of tax services are reporting systemic issues that began over the past weekend. Despite official statements from the State Tax Service on October 27 regarding the resumption of normal operations for digital tools, taxpayers continue to report that the Electronic Cabinet remains inaccessible.
The primary complaints concern the inability to register tax invoices, which poses risks to business operations. Entrepreneurs are urging the relevant agency to provide official explanations regarding the procedure to follow under current conditions, and to guarantee that no penalties will be applied for delays in fulfilling obligations caused by technical issues on the STS side.
Intervention by the parliamentary committee
Danylo Hetmantsev, head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on finance, tax and customs policy, has responded to the situation. He noted that he is receiving numerous inquiries from businesses regarding the stability of electronic resources.
Danylo Hetmantsev called on the leadership of the tax service to immediately normalize system operations. Furthermore, he demands that the agency provide public communication regarding the causes of the prolonged technical failure and clear timelines for full restoration of access to the services.
Previous technical maintenance
Ahead of the weekend, the STS announced that it would be conducting routine maintenance, during which time certain services would be temporarily restricted. The tax service advised taxpayers to redistribute resources in advance to ensure the timely fulfillment of tax obligations.
At present, users are awaiting further official commentary from tax officials regarding the current situation and methods for resolving access issues.
