An enemy projectile hit a residential high-rise in Osnovianskyi district
Russian forces launched an attack on a multi-story residential building in Kharkiv on the evening of October 27. The strike left people trapped inside and caused casualties. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Олена Бджола) citing Ihor Terekhov, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The strike hit Osnovianskyi district of the city, targeting residential infrastructure. Emergency services are operating at the scene while the extent of destruction and casualty figures are being verified.
«Based on the available information, there are people blocked inside», said Terekhov.
Earlier in October, the regional center had already faced aerial attacks. Specifically, on October 25, invaders targeted the residential sector using drones.
At the same time, enemy fire hit a shopping mall and a civilian enterprise. Fires sparked by those shellings injured four individuals, including three emergency service workers.
