Changes in Poland for Ukrainians from November 2026: Salaries and Benefits

The minimum wage will remain at 4,806 PLN gross in November

Starting November 2026, Poland plans to keep the minimum wage unchanged, while introducing new regulations regarding compensation for workplace discrimination. Child benefits and pension payments will continue to be provided according to existing rules. This was reported by Novyny.LIVE citing ZUS, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

In November of this year, the minimum wage in Poland will be 4,806 PLN gross. After tax deductions, employees will receive approximately 3,605.85 PLN. It is expected that the next increase to 4,950 PLN will take effect on January 1, 2027, along with an increase in the hourly wage rate.

Pensions and Social Benefits

The minimum pension in Poland currently stands at 1,978.49 PLN gross, following a 5.3% indexation in March. Ukrainian citizens are eligible for these payments provided they have reached retirement age and have the required insurance record, which includes periods of work in Ukraine. Currently, the Confederation party has initiated a draft law that could restrict access to pensions for foreigners by requiring the accumulation of a significant number of indexed insurance contributions.

The family support program, providing 800 PLN per month for each minor child, remains in effect in November. To receive these funds, parents must be officially employed, hold PESEL UKR status, reside in the country, and ensure their children attend educational institutions. Maintaining temporary protection status is a key requirement for the continuation of these benefits.

New Rules Regarding Mobbing

From November 5, 2026, the legislative initiative Dz.U. 2026 poz. 1046, aimed at combating mobbing and workplace discrimination, will come into force. The law introduces minimum compensation amounts for victims, which may be equal to at least six minimum wages, currently amounting to 28,836 PLN. This innovation establishes clear financial thresholds for compensation in cases of verified workplace harassment.
