The service is available for liabilities of up to 10 minimum wages
The Diia mobile application has introduced a feature allowing users to track open enforcement proceedings, pay off debts, and promptly restore access to blocked bank accounts. This new capability aims to automate the process of lifting freezes on citizens' funds without requiring manual paperwork. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from Diia.
Previously, the procedure for lifting a bank account freeze required the enforcement officer to manually issue a paper resolution and send it to the financial institution. Now, once a payment is made through the portal, the automated system instantly forwards the information to the bank to unfreeze the assets. Users no longer need to wait for lengthy paper-based document exchanges between government agencies.

Following a successful debt payment, the service automatically removes the citizen’s data from the debtors’ registry. The bank receives an electronic notification on the same day, and restrictions are fully lifted within no later than the next 24 hours. Users can check for any active enforcement proceedings directly inside the smartphone app under the services section.
Restrictions and project support
This new feature applies to debts not exceeding 10 minimum wages, which totals UAH 86,470 in 2026. The initiative is implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation alongside the Ministry of Justice and the state enterprise National Information Systems. The project is supported by the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program funded by the East Europe Foundation.
