State Customs Service reports 648.8 billion UAH in revenue for 9 months of 2026

Large companies drove the main growth, increasing payments by 30%

In January-September 2026, the State Customs Service directed 648.8 billion UAH to the state budget. This figure exceeds the result of the same period last year by 25.5%. This was reported by Economichna Pravda citing the Telegram channel of State Customs Service of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

The financial result for the nine months was made possible by the activity of thousands of participants in foreign economic activity. Despite wartime challenges, businesses continue to ensure the import of necessary equipment and goods, as well as the export of domestic products, which contributes to job retention and economic stability.

The total number of business entities that paid customs duties during the reporting period reached 32.8 thousand. This is 3% more compared to the same indicator in 2025, when the number of taxpayers was 31.9 thousand.

Contribution of large companies and taxpayer structure

The key driver of revenue growth was the activity of large businesses, which increased their payment volumes by 30%. In total, only 3.3 thousand importers, representing 4% of the total number of taxpayers, accounted for 88% of all revenue collected by the treasury.

Small and medium-sized businesses also make a significant contribution to state budget stability. Specifically, 17.1 thousand companies paid up to 1 million UAH each, with the total sum from this group reaching 5.3 billion UAH. Another 12.4 thousand enterprises directed between 1 and 20 million UAH each to the budget.

Dynamics of revenue in 2026

In addition to business structures, individual citizens also make significant transfers, contributing 11.4 billion UAH. Positive trends are also confirmed by data from previous periods of the current year.

For instance, in the first half of 2026, customs officers secured over 420 billion UAH, which is 31.9% higher than last year’s figures. July set a record, with the agency transferring nearly 78.3 billion UAH to the state treasury, marking the highest monthly indicator during the entire period of martial law.
