Citizens have 30 days to submit a new application in case of changes in household circumstances
Subsidized individuals are required to notify the Pension Fund of Ukraine about changes in personal data or family composition within 30 calendar days. Failure to comply with these requirements may lead to a recalculation or complete termination of benefits. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Citizens who receive state subsidies for utility payments must timely update their information in the Registry of Persons Entitled to Benefits. The accuracy of data in state registers is a crucial condition for maintaining the right to assistance and ensuring its correct calculation.
Mandatory notification of changes
In particular, one must contact the Pension Fund regarding changes in family composition. Such adjustments may arise due to marriage, divorce, the birth of children, or the loss of a household member, all of which directly affect the amount of the benefit.
Similar actions should be taken upon a change of residence. The beneficiary must enter updated information into the registry within a month, regardless of whether it concerns the registered or the actual place of stay.
Updating services and data
Changes in the list of consumed utility services must also be recorded. An example of such a situation is switching from central heating to installing an individual system or opting out of certain types of services.
If the reporting requirement is ignored, the Pension Fund has the right to recalculate benefits. If circumstances make further assistance impossible, payments will be terminated starting from the month following the one in which the respective changes occurred.
A new application can be submitted directly at service centers of the institution or by sending documents via mail. Remote tools are also available, such as the official web portal of the fund, the mobile application, or the Diia platform.
