In October 2026, 60% of damage on enemy territory was caused by the assets of one manufacturer
In October 2026, 59 hits were recorded on the territory of the russian federation, most of which were carried out thanks to Ukrainian long-range systems. At the same time, the increase in activity in the Russian rear is accompanied by information campaigns against domestic arms manufacturers. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Анатолій Храпчинський) citing Anatolii Khrapchynskyi, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
In October 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces moved to systematically eliminate Russian targets. A total of 59 strikes were recorded, with 60% of successful operations carried out using missiles and drones from one of the leading domestic enterprises.
The strikes covered three key sectors: the fuel and energy complex, defense industry enterprises, and objects providing air defense. In particular, strikes were carried out on oil terminals in St. Petersburg and a number of oil pumping stations, including hubs in Samara, Nikolskoye, and Volodarskaya.
Systemic destruction of enemy potential
In addition to the energy sector, enterprises responsible for rocket production and electronics manufacturing came under fire. Among the damaged facilities were chemical plants in Berezniki and Novomoskovsk, the Kamensky plant, and the titanium monopolist Avisma. To break through the multi-layered air defense, the Defense Forces also systematically neutralized Nebo-U radars, Pantsir-S1 complexes, and military airfields.
Against the backdrop of successful actions in the Russian rear, information campaigns against Ukrainian weapons developers have intensified. According to estimates, this is part of cognitive warfare, the goal of which is to stop the work of manufacturers through artificial scandals and discrediting, as the enemy is unable to intercept the weapons in the air.
Cognitive impact on society
Anatolii Khrapchynskyi notes that the information attacks are aimed at creating a toxic environment around defense contracts. This allows the enemy to block the companies’ working capital and create obstacles for engineers, which ultimately saves the Russian military machine from further losses.
The expert emphasizes that such methods reflect doctrines of reflexive control, where the goal is to manipulate the consciousness of opponents. Emotional content is being spread in the media space, which aims to undermine trust in institutions and the critical thinking of Ukrainians during a critical period of the war.
