Nearly 90 km of Anti-Drone Road Protection Built in Frontline Regions in October

State Special Transport Service repaired over 720 km of roads since April

In October, the State Special Transport Service built 86.65 km of anti-drone protection along frontline roads and repaired 62.84 km of highways. Since the beginning of the year, protective structures have been installed along more than 1,640 km of key supply routes. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

Construction of protective structures and road maintenance are being carried out as tasked by the defence ministry to preserve military equipment and protect service members’ lives.

Scale of Reconstruction Works on Supply Routes

Large-scale reconstruction efforts on frontline routes began in April. Since then, specialists have carried out routine repairs and operational maintenance on over 720 km of roads.

Currently, specialized units have fully completed operations across 57 sections, while work remains ongoing on 2 additional sites.

Importance of Protecting Frontline Highways

Securing supply routes against hostile drones provides safer conditions for vehicle movement within active combat zones.

Installing protective screens enables Ukrainian units to fulfill assigned combat missions more effectively while ensuring uninterrupted supply flows.
