Government Introduces UAH 30,000 Monthly Bonuses for Energy and Infrastructure Repair Specialists

State financial aid will be paid monthly until the end of the heating season

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved additional payments for specialists directly involved in restoring critical energy, municipal infrastructure, and railway facilities following attacks. Workers will receive monthly state assistance of 30,000 hryvnias starting in November through the end of the heating season. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Ukrenergo.

This initiative was implemented following a direct instruction from the Head of State. Additional financial support will be provided to energy workers, heating engineers, gas sector specialists, water utility personnel, municipal services employees, and railway workers.

The necessity of these measures stems from unprecedented scale and intensity of attacks by Russian forces. Every day, the enemy launches between 300 and 400 drones at critical infrastructure facilities, alongside regular missile strikes including ballistic weapons.

Large-Scale Network Destruction

Since August, relevant services have recorded more than 2,000 hits. Power transmission lines and open switchgear elements are being systematically destroyed, significantly complicating repair operations.

Repair crews are forced to restore facilities repeatedly, with volumes exceeding previous years by multiple times. The constant shelling creates extreme hardships for teams working in the field.

Resilience of Critical Infrastructure

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of these professionals, the energy grid, municipal sector, and railway network maintain their stability. This state support represents a vital acknowledgement of their work under extreme circumstances.

Repair teams continue their operations across the entire country, restoring power, water, and heat supplies to Ukrainian citizens.
