The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to exclude seven industrial parks from the Register of Industrial (Industrial) Parks of Ukraine, since for more than three years these sites have failed to attract industrial producers.
This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, the PromPolitInform portal informs.
“Due to the lack of capital investments in the preparation of territories, construction of workshops and supply of networks, the parks did not acquire the necessary investment attractiveness, which made it impossible to launch real economic activity,” the message states.
The following industrial parks have been excluded from the Register:
- “Zolotonosha” (Zolotonosha, Cherkasy region, included on 05/18/2017);
- “Kamyanka-Buzky” (Kamyanka-Buzka, Lviv region, included on 05/31/2017);
- “Novorozdilskyi Industrial Park” (Novyi Rozdil, Lviv region, included on 06/15/2017);
- “Novovolynsk” (Novovolynsk, Volyn region, included on 06/30/2017);
- “Kyivshchyna” (Novi Petrivtsi village, Vyshhorod district, Kyiv region, included on 10/25/2017);
- “Maramuresh” (Bila Tserkva village, Tyachiv district, Zakarpattia region, included on 06/03/2022);
- “Volodymyr” (Volodymyr city, Volyn region, included 11.10.2022).
At the same time, the Ministry of Economy noted, the exclusion of an industrial park from the Register does not mean its liquidation. It can continue to operate, but without the right to receive state incentives.
“The absence of real production indicates that the chosen development model for these sites did not work. However, exclusion from the Register is primarily an incentive to revise the strategy. In six months, the initiator of its creation can re-submit this park for inclusion, having worked on errors in the preparation of the infrastructure,” said Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Vitaly Kindrativ.
As reported, in Ukraine the Register has 111 industrial parks, and only for 2025 27 new facilities were included in it. Real sector indicators confirm the effectiveness of this tool: 37 factories have already been built or are under construction on the territories of the parks.
