The General Staff of the APU reported the defeat of the infrastructure of the Kapustin Yar polygon.
It is reported that during January 2026, the Forces of Defense of Ukraine carried out a series of successful strikes on a complex of hangar-type buildings, where the upcoming preparation of intercontinental ballistic missiles of medium range, the Kapustin Yar polygon in the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation with the use of shock means of long-range radio action Ukrainian production, in particular FP-5 “Flamingo”, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
“According to available information, on the territory of the police, part of the buildings received damage of varying degrees, one of the hangars is significantly damaged, part of the personal composition is evacuated from the territory,” the report said.
Ukraine continues to build capabilities to defeat the aggressor’s military infrastructure in its deep rear, using its own developments.
