They’ve launched. Ukraine will open 10 arms export centers in Europe – Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine plans to open ten arms export centers in European countries by 2026. According to him, the process began on February 8. According to Shtab.info, the politician made this announcement during a meeting with students and faculty of the Kyiv National Aviation Institute to mark the 120th anniversary of aircraft designer Oleg Antonov’s birth. PromPolitInform reports.

Zelenskyy specified that the new centers will operate, in particular, in the Baltic and Northern European countries. At the same time, Ukraine is already expanding international cooperation in defense technology. Germany is expecting the first Ukrainian-made drone soon, and corresponding production lines are already operational in the UK.

The President emphasized that modern European security is largely based on technology and unmanned systems. Ukraine, together with its partners, is implementing several joint projects in this area. Moreover, a significant portion of these developments are based on Ukrainian technologies and the experience of specialists gained during the war.

He also noted that due to the war, Ukrainian defense companies are not yet fully represented in global markets, but the gradual opening of export centers should expand their capabilities and strengthen cooperation with European partners.
