The department noted that the holding is traditionally associated with small arms. However, in fact, production is a multidisciplinary element of the Russian military-industrial complex and is directly involved in ensuring the war against Ukraine.
“The concern’s enterprises produce reconnaissance and strike UAVs, guided artillery ammunition, high-speed landing boats, equipment for the armed forces of the Russian Federation, as well as machines for other defense enterprises of russia,” – stressed in the gur.
The intelligence emphasized that despite the critical role in military production, almost half of the concern’s enterprises are still not under sanctions of any of the countries of the sanctions coalition.
Among them, in particular:
– CB LUGGAR LLC – developer of thermal imaging devices and laser rangefinders;
– the Kalashnikov industrial cluster – small arms, special equipment, clothing and equipment for special forces are manufactured on its basis;
– training center “Kalashnikov Academy” – trains specialists in the fields of robotics, artificial intelligence, creation and modernization of UAVs for the needs of concern enterprises.
According to the DIU, the concern became the sixth holding of the Rostec corporation, published by the DIU in the section “Military-industrial complex of the aggressor” on the War & Sanctions portal. The general list of already published on the portal of enterprises of the corporation reaches almost 500 companies.
