Ukraine imposed sanctions against Lukashenko

“Today, Ukraine has applied a package of sanctions against Alexander Lukashenko, and we will significantly intensify our opposition to all forms of his assistance in killing Ukrainians. We will work with partners so that it has a global effect,” said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the PromPolitInform portal informs.

“In the second half of 2025, on the territory of Belarus, the Russians deployed a system of repeaters to control strike drones, which increased the ability of the Russian army to strike at our northern regions – from the Kyiv region to Volyn.

Part of the attacks, in particular on energy facilities and the railway in our regions, the Russians could not have inflicted without such assistance to Belarus.

More than 3 thousand enterprises of Belarus are put in the service of the Russian war and supply equipment, equipment and components that are classified as critical. In particular, these are components for the production of missiles that terrorize our cities and villages. The development of infrastructure for the deployment of medium-range missiles on the territory of Belarus – “oreshnik” – continues, which is an obvious threat not only for Ukrainians, but also for all Europeans.

Alexander Lukashenko not only provided the territory of Belarus for the “oreshnik.” Last year, the country’s enterprises supplied Russia with critical components, components and a mechanical base for these weapons. This continues in 2026.

Alexander Lukashenko has long exchanged the sovereignty of Belarus for the continuation of personal power, helps Russians circumvent the sanctions of the world for this aggression, actively justifies the Russian war, and now he is also increasing his own participation in scaling and prolonging the war. There will be special consequences for this,” the head of state concluded.
