The payments are intended to become an annual state award for professionalism and dedicated work in the energy sector.
Ukraine has established annual Cabinet of Ministers awards for energy workers. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
According to her, the Cabinet’s decision provides for the annual awarding of 50 bonuses of 200,000 UAH each.
“The award is funded from the state budget. It is intended to become an annual state distinction for professionalism and dedicated work in the energy sector,” said Yulia Svyrydenko.
As previously reported, emergency response team workers in the energy sector will receive an additional 20,000 UAH monthly.
