Ukrainians paid UAH 13.8 billion in military tax to the state budget in January 2026, a 30% increase compared to the same period last year. This was reported by the State Tax Service, as reported by Ukrinform. PromPolitInform reports.

“In January 2026, taxpayers transferred UAH 13.8 billion in military tax in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For comparison, a year ago, the amount was UAH 10.6 billion – an increase of 30%,” the report states.

It is noted that the leading regions in terms of transfer volumes were: Kyiv – UAH 4.4 billion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast – UAH 1.5 billion, Lviv Oblast – UAH 1.1 billion, and Kharkiv Oblast – UAH 0.9 billion.

As reported, military tax revenues to the general fund of the state budget in 2025 increased 3.2-fold compared to 2024, reaching UAH 163.6 billion.
