A criminal case has been opened in Russia against Pavel Durov, the founder of the Telegram messaging app. He is accused of aiding terrorist activity. According to the FSB, during the Russian-Ukrainian war, Telegram became “the main tool of the intelligence services of NATO countries and Ukraine.” This was reported by BigKyiv, as reported by the portal PromPolitInform.
Russian security officials claim that since 2022, more than 153,000 crimes involving Telegram have been registered in Russia, 33,000 of which are “sabotage and terrorist,” including organizing explosions, arson attacks on military enlistment offices, and murders.
