On the night of March 7, the occupiers carried out a massive combined strike on the territory of Ukraine, choosing energy infrastructure facilities in several regions as the main target. The greatest activity of enemy missiles and drones was recorded in the direction of strategic hydropower facilities, in particular, hydroelectric power plants and PSPs in the Chernivtsi region. This was reported by the monitoring channel “PPO RADAR”, True.ua reports. The PromPolitInform portal informs.

Main directions of the strike

According to monitoring data, the enemy attacked a number of strategic locations:

Chernivtsi region – special attention was paid to the areas where PSPs and hydroelectric power plants are located;

Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions, including the settlement of Nalyvaykivka;

southern directions – Odesa, Chornomorsk and the Zatoka district;

eastern and central regions – Kharkiv, Kharkiv region and Vilniansk in Zaporizhia region.

Target of attack – power system

As the analysis of flight trajectories shows, the main target for Russian missiles and drones remains the power infrastructure. The enemy continues to systematically attack electricity generation and distribution facilities, trying to cause critical damage to the network.

As a reminder, in Kharkiv, as a result of a night missile strike by the occupiers on March 7, a residential building was directly hit, which led to large-scale destruction. There are fatalities.
