The defense forces of Ukraine almost completely liberated the territories of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was stated in an interview with RBC-Ukraine by the head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff, Major General Alexander Komarenko, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
“Almost the entire territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region has been liberated. It remains to finalize three small settlements and two more – to clean up. By the way, thanks to these active actions in February, we have a positive trend – more territory has been liberated than lost,” said Major General.
Alexander Komarenko added: “They developed, continued to attack the Dnepropetrovsk region. Their leadership constantly says that they need the entire Donbass and a buffer zone. Their goal was to create a buffer zone in the Dnipropetrovsk region – such was their intention, plan.”
