From March 20, 2026, the cashback program on fuel will start in Ukraine as part of the “National Cashback” project. The program will operate temporarily – until May 1, 2026. Delo.ua reports this with reference to the Ministry of Economy. The PromPolitInform portal reports.
As part of the compensation program, Ukrainians can receive partial reimbursement of the cost of fuel purchased at gas stations participating in the program.
As noted in the department, the program is short-term and is designed to mitigate the negative consequences during a sharp jump in prices.
What is the amount of cashback
– 15% – for diesel fuel;
– 10% – for gasoline;
– 5% – for autogas.
This will allow you to save from 2 to 11 hryvnias on each liter of fuel, depending on its type.
The maximum amount of cashback for fuel will be up to 1,000 UAH per person per month. At the same time, the total limit in the “National Cashback” program remains unchanged – up to 3,000 UAH per month.
The financing of the program will not require additional expenditures from the state budget, but will be carried out within the funds already provided for in the budget of the Ministry of Economy.
How to join the program
For those who already use the “National Cashback” program, no additional actions are required. Pay for the purchased fuel with a card, as for regular purchases in a store. Cashback will be accrued in the same way as when purchasing other goods.
And for new users, to join the program, you need to:
open a card for payments in one of the partner banks;
pay with a card connected to the program.
Cashback is accrued only if you pay with the card that was connected to participate in the program. The accumulated cashback will be displayed in the “Diya” application in the “National Cashback” section.
Where can you spend the accrued money
The money accrued in the form of cashback can be spent on:
payment for utilities;
Ukrainian-made food products;
purchase of Ukrainian-made medicines and medical devices;
payment for postal services;
books;
donations to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The program will involve gas station networks registered in the “National Cashback”.
These are Ukrnafta, OKKO, WOG gas station network, Amic Energy in Ukraine, BVS, KLO, Motto, Chipo gas station network, VostokGas, Autotrans gas station network, Mango, Parallel gas station, Rodnik gas station, BRSM-Nafta. UPG, SOCAR Energy Ukraine, Martin LLC and Marshal gas station network will also join soon, and later, possibly, other gas stations.
In addition, the government is preparing new targeted programs to support the population against the backdrop of rising world oil prices. This includes a one-time payment of UAH 1,500 for the most vulnerable categories of citizens.
