The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this, according to the PromPolitInform portal.
On the night of March 21 (from 18:00 on March 20), the enemy attacked with 154 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types from the directions: Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, – RF, Gvardiyske – TOT AR Crimea, about 90 of them – “Shaheeds”.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, 148 enemy UAVs were shot down/suppressed by air defense.
5 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 4 locations, as well as the fall of downed ones (fragments) at 7 locations.
The attack continues, several enemy UAVs are in the airspace.
