NATO delegation arrives in Ukraine for the first time since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion

Admiral Pierrot Vandieu discussed the participation of Ukrainian military in NATO exercises as Red Team. The parties are finalizing the deployment of JATEC control systems.

A delegation of NATO military command has arrived in Ukraine for the first time since the full-scale Russian invasion. This was reported on Telegram by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Pavlo Palisa, UNN reports. The PromPolitInform portal reports.

The delegation was headed by Admiral Pierrot Vandieu, Supreme Allied Commander for Transformation.

“We spoke substantively about the involvement of Ukrainian military in future NATO exercises as a hypothetical enemy (Red Team). Last year’s experience of our units’ participation showed the allies the latest methods of warfare – in training scenarios, Ukrainian teams demonstrated a significant advantage,” Palisa said.

Separately, the future of JATEC (Joint NATO-Ukraine Center) was discussed during the meeting.

“We are entering the final stage of deploying Ukrainian control systems, developing analytical capabilities and joining the scaling of training programs. Today, Ukraine is not only a consumer of security. Ukraine is its producer,” the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine summed up.

We will remind that US President Donald Trump stated that it is more difficult for him to interact with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky than with Kremlin head Vladimir Putin, and also expressed greater trust in the Russian leader than in NATO allies.
