Massive night attack on Ukraine. The Air Force confirmed 22 hits by Russian drones and missiles

The Russian occupiers used a total of 426 air attack weapons.

On the night of Tuesday, March 24, Russia massively attacked critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine with 34 missiles of various types and almost four hundred drones, of which the defense forces managed to neutralize 25 missiles and 365 enemy UAVs, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported. Thus, in the airspace over Ukraine that night the following were recorded:

7 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles;

18 Kh-101 cruise missiles;

5 Iskander-K cruise missiles;

4 Kh-59/69/31 guided aircraft missiles;

392 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and other types of drones, about 250 of them are “Shaheeds”.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense destroyed or suppressed 390 targets:

18 Kh-101 cruise missiles;

5 Iskander-K cruise missiles;

2 Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles;

365 enemy UAVs of various types.

There are also confirmed hits of six missiles and 27 attack UAVs at 22 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAVs at 10 locations.

As noted in the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, information regarding the three Russian missiles is still being clarified. Meanwhile, the attack is still ongoing — several enemy UAVs are being spotted in the airspace.

Thus, as of this morning, it is known that two people were killed and seven more were injured in Poltava and the region as a result of Russian shelling, including one child. Residential buildings, a hotel, and industrial facilities were damaged directly in Poltava.

Zaporizhzhia was hit by a massive strike. One person was killed there and nine more were injured. 20 multi-story buildings and six private buildings, a shop, non-residential buildings, and enterprises were damaged.

In general, explosions also occurred in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
