The Russians damaged energy equipment in the Chernihiv region. There are currently hourly outages.
On Wednesday morning, new power outages were recorded in five regions of Ukraine due to a massive missile and drone attack of the previous day, as well as due to enemy strikes on the energy infrastructure of the front-line and border regions with Russia. This was reported by Ukrenergo on March 25, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
“In the morning there are de-energized consumers in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy and Odessa regions. The most difficult situation at the moment is in Chernihiv region. There, as a result of several consecutive enemy attacks, power equipment was damaged, which leads to the forced use of hourly blackouts. Restrictions will be lifted immediately after the stabilization of the situation in the power system,” – stated in the message.
At the same time, the supply of electricity shows an upward trend. This morning its level was 1.8% higher than at this time of the previous day – on Tuesday.
“This is due to cloudy weather in a large part of the regions of Ukraine, which leads to lower efficiency of household solar power plants and a corresponding increase in energy consumption from the general network,” the power engineers explained.
They ask citizens to consume electricity sparingly. It is advisable to transfer energy-intensive processes to the daytime – from 11:00 to 15:00. Also, do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time in the evening hours – from 17:00 to 22:00.
Recall that this morning the city of Slavutich was completely de-energized due to the attack of the Russian Federation. At the same time, heat and water supply were provided.
