State Statistics Service launches large-scale survey of income and living conditions of Ukrainians

The State Statistics Service announced the start of another national survey, which should show how the income, expenses and living conditions of Ukrainians have changed during the war and economic fluctuations. The study will cover households in all regions of the country, where the security situation allows. This is reported by “Pershy Business“, the PromPolitInform portal reports.

The State Statistics Service explains that the sample is formed in such a way as to reflect the real picture of the lives of various social groups – from residents of large cities to small communities. Interviewers will collect data on sources of income, expenditure structure, access to medical and educational services, housing conditions, as well as the level of provision with basic goods and infrastructure.

The results obtained will become the basis for updating social standards, assessing the level of poverty and forming state support programs. The data is also used by international organizations that analyze Ukraine’s economic stability and the needs of the population.

Participation in the survey is voluntary, and all information is confidential. The State Statistics Service emphasizes that the respondents’ answers are not transferred to third parties and are used exclusively in a generalized form.

We remind you that it is such surveys that allow us to see real changes in the well-being of citizens – in particular, the impact of inflation, migration, job losses and changes in the structure of expenses during the war.
