The system allows commanders to quickly obtain a holistic picture, while creating similar solutions in the armed forces usually takes years.
Within two months, the Mission Control digital system was implemented in all corps and groups of troops. This is a drone control platform that has become part of the DELTA ecosystem and is designed to record the operation of unmanned aerial systems (UAS), as well as form analytical dashboards for decision-making. As reported by the PromPolitInform portal, Dengi.ua reported this with reference to the post of Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov on the TG channel.
According to him, the system allows commanders to quickly obtain a holistic picture – from planning to assessing the effectiveness of the use of UAS. All data is structured and presented in a convenient format, which speeds up the decision-making process. Mission Control covers the main areas of application of drones, including reconnaissance, target destruction, mining, logistics and evacuation.
He noted that the implementation of such solutions usually takes years, but in this case the process was completed in just two months. The system is already functioning in all corps and groups, which indicates its practical effectiveness.
Fedorov reported that simultaneously with the launch of Mission Control, reports 5.31 and 5.32, which were previously used to record the work of the BPS, were canceled. Filling them out, especially during high-intensity operations, took units several hours and complicated the transfer of information vertically, reducing the efficiency and flexibility of management.
The Minister also emphasized that now, after entering information into Mission Control, the system automatically generates a dashboard that becomes available for analysis in just a few minutes. This makes it possible to plan the work of units and make decisions based on up-to-date and high-quality data available at all levels of management – from the battalion to the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense.
“We are building a system where every action turns into data. And data into decisions. Mission Control is the foundation of data-driven management of unmanned systems. In modern warfare, this means: faster decisions, more destroyed targets and saving the lives of soldiers. Less bureaucracy – more results on the front,” wrote Mikhail Fedorov.
