More than 136 thousand people took part in the vote. The language AI model “Syayvo” is planned to be used in public services, business, education and defense.
Ukrainians have chosen a name for the first national AI model, the Ministry of Digital Transformation reports informs the PromPolitInform portal.
The winner of the vote was the name “Radiance.” Such a name for a large language model (LLM – Large Language Model), which the Ministry of Digital Development is creating together with Kyivstar, Ukrainians gave 22 thousand 601 votes. In total, more than 136 thousand Ukrainians joined the survey.
“Radiance” is an artificial intelligence system that works with text and language.
The Ministry of Digital Development noted that “Syayvo” will be the first national large language model of Ukraine. It is planned to be used in public services, business, education and defense.
It is expected that the model will help to process large amounts of data faster, automate processes and become the basis for the creation of new digital products.
10 variants of names that were previously selected according to the criterion of uniqueness reached the final of the vote. The ministry stressed that all ideas were checked for originality, lack of plagiarism and possible violations of the rights of third parties.
The department thanked all the voting participants and noted that new digital launches are ahead.
