US President Donald Trump said the United States should not have intervened in the war in Ukraine and spent billions of dollars on aid. He also criticized the previous administration for the amount of support for Kyiv.
He said this during a conversation with journalists, informs the portal PromPolitInform.

“We are spending billions. You know, we didn’t have to go to Ukraine. Ukraine is thousands of miles away, across the ocean. We helped them. We had a president – just a fool: he gave them $350 billion without receiving anything in return, gave them so much money, spent so much ammunition.
We now produce ammunition all over the country, because we need them, because he gave so much to Ukraine and received nothing for it. I sell them ammunition. The European Union pays for it,” Trump said.
Earlier, the US president threatened European allies to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine under the PURL program if they did not join the operation to unblock the Strait of Hormuz.
