Ukraine made every effort for a diplomatic settlement of the situation with Iran, but in return received only deception. That is why Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy considers the Iranian regime hostile.
This was stated by Vladimir Zelensky in an interview with Clash Report, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
Zelensky stressed that Ukraine “did nothing to Iran,” but constantly suffered losses from Tehran’s actions. So, he recalled the shooting down of a Ukrainian plane in January 2020, where 176 people died. Then the Iranian authorities for a long time did not admit guilt and impeded the work of international experts.
With the outbreak of the great war, Iran has become a key supplier of kamikaze drones (“shaheds”), which daily attack peaceful cities of Ukraine.
I wanted to put an end to it. I asked them. They promised that there would be no more than one batch of drones, but in fact continued to lie and distribute weapons. That’s why i consider them accomplices of Russia, – said Zelensky.
- On April 2, Zelensky said that Ukraine continues to work in various formats with countries that are under the blows of the Iranian regime.
- March 20, Donald Trump said that Ukraine allegedly does not provide any assistance in the situation with Iran. And Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky allegedly PR on this topic.
